Paul Lewis is a Higher Courts Advocate who regularly conducts trials in the Crown Court. He has appeared as both leading and junior counsel in cases of national prominance. Paul is also an experienced “The Sexual Offences Act 2003″ and has conducted many serious criminal cases, including murder, drugs, serious fraud and sexual offences.

He is a criminal defence lawyer with a particular interest in serious fraud matters, including business and corporate fraud, as well as providing criminal defence in serious matters including murders, sexual offences and other high profile criminal cases.

He is the author of “The Sexual Offences Act 2003″, described by the Law Society of England & Wales as the ‘authoritative guide (which) is essential reading for criminal lawyers who need to advise clients on the new law’.

Paul has also provided training for Criminal Lawyers on behalf of Crimeline, Central Law Training and Legal Network Television. He has had articles published in the Law Society Gazette. He has also appeared on television and radio in connection with the criminal law.

R v B: Junior Advocate on behalf of client charged with murdering both parents. Personality disorder diagnosed and used to support verdicts of manslaughter

R v K: Leading advocate on behalf of defendant in the Rhys Jones Murder case

R v J: Advocate on behalf of defendant who was acquitted of involvement in gangland shooting

R v M: Leading advocate in five month trial representing defendant charged with conspiracy to be corrupt. Defendant charged with misusing his position in the Police Authority to award commercial contracts.

R v W: Junior advocate assisting defendant charged with credit card and identity Fraud, estimated at over £10 million.

R v D: Advocate of behalf of pensioner accused of poisioning his wife
