2010 – R v Kirby and Ors

Defended a man who was the subject of a SOCA operation with embedded undercover agents. He was arrested whilst driving the van loaded with £80 million worth of cocaine. Aquitted

2010 R v David Camp and Others CLIENT NAME CONFIDENTIAL CCC

This is a complex ongoing case in a series of three trials involving an informant.

Four people are on trial regarding conspiracy to murder. Mandy Fleming who gained the moniker ‘The Black Widow’ tried to hire an assassin to kill her husband. An informant Gary Eaton, who was also an informant on the Rhys Jones murder (which our Liverpool office acted on), was also involved as an informant in this case. We act for the defendant who is accused of supplying the gun to carry out the murder.

Our case is part of the three trials relating to the same informant and ties-in to our observation that more cases are informant led leading to a certitude of conviction.

2008 R v Irinel – Murder CCC

The team defended one of three Romanian brothers who robbed, tortured, tied up and left for dead a male, lured from a public house and attacked in his own home.
